Park of the Exotic Tropical Flora Nuestra Señora del Carmen

Especially thought for the preservation of nature, the Park of the Exotic Tropical Flora Nuestra Señora del Carmen is one of the largest parks in Latin America exhibiting exotic tropical plants. It has 10.5 acres.

This is a great garden created and designed by botanical landscape architect’s French Jean Philippe Tose. There are over five thousand worked plants belonging to more than 250 botanical families. Many of the plants that make up the collection of the park were brought from India, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Trinidad, Italy, Martinique, Jamaica, Malaysia, Japan, Argentina and Brazil, among other countries.

A journey of 4.5 kilometers shows our visitors beautiful landscapes created with special care in harmony and contrast of colors, during the visit to the park is common to find a variety of birds and insects, the park is an important natural reservoir and valuable legacy of life.
